Proverbs 10:10-12
10
He who winks maliciously
causes grief,
and a chattering fool comes to ruin.
When a someone seldom speaks directly, but relies on insinuations, watch your back! A big-mouthed, long-winded idiot can do little harm.

11
The mouth of the righteous is
a
fountain of life,
but violence overwhelms the
mouth of the wicked.
A good person knows what is acceptable to say and when to speak. A wicked person spews forth harsh, hateful, and sarcastic
evil. They have no conscience or remorse for hurting others by backbiting, slandering,
or whispering lies. |

12
Hatred stirs up dissension,
but love covers over all wrongs.
Love overlooks offences; hatred gets offended, holds bitterness, or plots revenge. Love hears rumors, or even factual news of
offences, but never repeats them; hatred craves private information and
maliciously spreads it to anyone and incites them to hate. |
